About

I'm Donald. I run ClickConvrt.

Senior ownership of the campaigns, the tracking, the feeds, and the conversion systems behind paid search — accountable for all of it. No account-manager layer. No handoffs.

Donald Wilson
The journey

I've spent about a decade in paid digital marketing — eCommerce, lead gen, and local. The technical skills came from necessity, not ambition. When the campaign wasn't performing, the answer was almost never in the campaign itself. It was in the tracking that wasn't recording the right thing, the feed quietly serving the wrong queries, the landing page that didn't match the ad, the lead that vanished because nobody wired the CRM.

The pattern was always the same: businesses spending real money on Google without the infrastructure to make it perform. Agencies happy to manage the bids and send a monthly PDF, but unwilling — or unable — to go fix the thing actually breaking the result.

ClickConvrt is the result of that experience, not a pivot into a trend. It's the agency I wished those businesses had access to: senior ownership that sees the whole system, builds every piece of it, and owns the outcome.

How I work

A few non-negotiables.

Full ownership, senior accountability

The account is reviewed, strategized, and executed under one roof — you're never translating through an account-manager layer or inheriting a junior after the deal closes. One point of accountability for the whole engagement.

Flat fee, not % of spend

A flat monthly retainer. When the goal is efficiency, the incentive has to match — make the budget perform better, not grow it for its own sake.

Tracking before spend

Measurement is its own deliverable. If you can't see what's happening, you're paying to be confused. The data has to tell the story before the budget moves.

Start upstream of the campaign

Most campaign problems are offer problems. I validate the offer and the page before launch, because a perfect campaign pointed at a weak offer was never going to work.

The advantage

Direct access. Senior execution. One point of accountability.

The advantage is direct access: every platform that touches the result, so the work happens where the data actually lives — and campaigns are monitored continuously and adjusted on what the numbers show, not on a monthly check-in.

Google Ads

Direct account access — campaigns, keywords, bids, extensions, audiences, PMax asset groups, change history, recommendations.

GA4 & Search Console

Session and landing-page data, conversion validation, and the search-side context that makes performance legible.

Merchant Center

Feed health, product status, disapproval detection, and performance by product for Shopping and PMax.

Conversion & ops

CRM automation, lead routing, and the order/fulfilment systems that close the loop from click to outcome.

What I'm about

A point of view, plainly stated.

  • Most campaign problems are offer problems. Fixing the feed or the keywords won't save an offer that doesn't convert.
  • You can't improve what you can't see. Measurement comes before spend, not after.
  • A click that doesn't become a tracked, routed outcome is invisible. The loop has to close.
  • The incentive should be performance, not budget growth. That's why the fee is flat.
